Hey guys.
Im new here as i found a book on Gumtree on Papervision but i was
really just using it for reference for away3d as im new to the Z axis.
Im struggling a little with the MovieMaterial.
I tend to extend Sprite but lets say your using flash and have a w:
200px by h:100px black rectangle MovieClip.
Where should the origin point of this rectangle be? Top Left, Middle?
Likewise, where on a face (ie: of a cube) is the origin point for
materials?
This is causing me some grief. By default, my moviematerial is being
placed at the top right of the cube face and not just that, but its
being rotated downwards. I can see the issue so i was looking for a
way to maniplute the material so that i could say
"material.rotation=-90" "material.x=-200" and this would fix the
problem. I dont know how to do that either though and its probably
naive.
Can anyone offer some advice?
