This model needs some serious TLC. You shouldn't need that muh geometry for such basic shapes. I would recommend re-modeling and creating proper UV maps in a 3D App or in Prefab before going any further. I get 3fps making this sample app un-usable. If you want to add dynamic lighting you need to optimize the geometry and make sure the texture map correctly. If you need higher poly count for better details then I recommend you bake all the lighting & shadows.
Away3D has a rounded corner cube primitive you might want to look into. ath. Jerome.
