if you want toggle renderers,
you can use  
engine.view.renderer = Renderer.INTERSECTING_OBJECTS;
when you stop enterfame
then call view.render();

and set
engine.view.renderer = Renderer.BASIC;
before set on enterFrame...

to draw something, simply call engine.view.render();
