Hey Guys It is a relatively easy task to keep the Away3D svn and github repos in sync, but Paul is right in that the googlecode svn is still where updates will be made (mainly because not all away team members are comfortable with git, and it would be a nightmare to keep things in sync both ways). The idea is simply choice - anyone who prefers github for dev (or, indeed, patches) can fork a personal branch and do their thing. I like to think it will potentially encourage people to actually submit pull requests for patches on bugs they have discovered and fixed themselves, but that might just be wishful thinking ;). Either way, github is a great community for open source projects, and we wanted to make sure we are part of the party!
