A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below. User who did this - Ignas Anikevicius (gns_ank)
Attached to Project - awesome
Summary - Keygrabber do not understand keycodes (e.g. '#45' for 'k')
Task Type - Feature Request
Category - Core
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To - Operating System - Linux
Severity - Low
Priority - Normal
Reported Version - git/master
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - Hello,

would it be possible to implement this thing in keygrabber? As of now, only a
key, a modifier and an event is 'known' in the keygrabber function.

Having a keycode as well would let as do some neat stuff, e.g. one could bind
awful.menu.menu_keys to specific keycodes rather than keys and then a keyboard
layout would not make any difference in navigating the menu.

I noticed this absence of the feature while trying to do exactly the same thing.

Thanks.
