No no, a SD card, a Sandisk Extreme III of 1GB :)
My SD card mounted looks as follows:
MeowPC ~ # mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/cardReader/
MeowPC ~ # ls /mnt/cardReader/
bin evdev.ko linuxrc opt sys usr
boot h4000_ts_x50.ko lost+found proc tests var
dev home media rootfs tmp x50_rootfs.tar.gz
etc lib mnt sbin tsdev.ko
Info on mount:
/dev/sda1 on /mnt/cardReader type ext2 (rw)
And for fdisk:

I put mirror mode on so i can see the kernel booting.
About the sd format i used cfdisk to make a 1gig ext2 filesystem,
without the boot flag, i stored all the data on the rootfs file.
Perhaps it doesn't show the gui because i don't have the right
filesystem :p

yes, I uploaded it for 8-9 times, the connection always crashed, so I
am uploading it onto new server .

In the X window system there's xstroke that recognizes handwritting :p
It's funny to use, i have it on my desktop, but don't use it.
I was contemplating fisherss webpage when i wondered why he put "3.
(a) For x50v, download this tarball: " and "(b) For x50, download
this tarball: " if the link is the same... and... voilà!
There's a file in
http://axim.narcotize.com/files/beta1/x50v/x50v_rootfs.tar.gz
that is not fully uploaded, it weights 28K and doesn't untargz's
correctly, so i should need that rootfs to boot the x50v.
Fisherss, can you upload it correctly, or is the other link on your
webpage the correct one?

Once X Window server, etc are working then its just a matter of
cross compiling. If Familiar is based off Gentoo I assume you can
use portage ebuilds? If so then you can look at
www.gentoo-portage.com. Some stuff is avalible for arm and other
stuff that isnt explicitly can be cross-compiled.
