Any succes yet? The kernel boots, but the initrd doesn't seem to start. The "echo" lines in the linuxrc file of the initrd should get onto the screen, right? It's hard to read cause Fisherss forgot to enable bigger fonts in the kernel he built for the x50v.
So this kernel is getting as far as any kernel I've tried so far. Could it be that something else is different on x50v? I formatted my sd card with an ext2 partition too, and put the rootfs on that, but obviously the kernel never tries to mount it. I get the same warning about the read-only switch as you. I hope fisherss uploads the kernel sources soon, so I can experiment with some kernel options. Also, I hope we can get a newer kernel working (2.6.13), cause a lot has been done with the pxa drivers there. Good luck!
