In a fit of insanity, I've decided to do this, finally.

I applied for appropriate namespace in CPAN, to at least get the ball
rolling on that court.

I'm going to start going over code and starting to build a framework,
possibly based on dims' previously posted Python bindings, this
weekend.

Not sure yet which is best - SWIG (more compatible with multiple
languages) or XS (Which I know much better than SWIG).

Any suggestions?

Re, Davanum's email from 2004-02-04....

Folks,

Had a chat with Brendan McAdams (working on Geronimo/OpenEJB) who
suggested that we could VERY
easily wrap Apache C++ with SWIG (http://www.swig.org/) exactly like Xerces-P
(http://xml.apache.org/xerces-p/). This will be a good thing since the
ONLY option right now for
SOAP from Perl is SOAP:Lite.

Anyone interested?

Thanks,
dims
