There's an interesting thread on /. right now about scripting vs. programming, and the attitude that "programmers" may or may not have against "scripters"
Since AxKit is a perl-based system, but is clearly "programmer" quality, I would like to know what people think about that? It's an open ended question :)
I thought it was fairly typical slashdot fodder. There's so much evidence of large scale work done in so-called scripting languages [*] that its not even worth poking fun at.
