Do you know if the Sacramento State Library has the newspapers for San Luis Obispo on microfilm?

 

If so I would like to ask if you have time to look up a obituary for me from 1950 or 1955 in San Luis Obispot that possbily would by my Portuguese Grandmothers lost brother and possibly my only lead for along time.  He had children so if it is him I could track down his children and there children.

 

If you do have time let me know and I will give you the name, date of death and city of death (San Luis Obispo). 

 

I don't know when I will be able to get out to California next time from Louisiana.

Thank you!  Do you know if the San Francisco obits can be obtained online anywhere such as newspaperarchive.com or any other such site?  I'm thinking I may drive to Sacramento to the State Library an access their microfilm newspapers as it may be quicker and about a 30 minute drive.  I have another I need for Santa Cruz for 1964, so I could lookup both at the same time. 

 

Can you look up newspapers at the LDS Family History centers?
