Thanks Cheri for the info regarding Huma.......regarding the cluster of infant deaths I didn't see any indication of the reason....perhaps 1838/1839 had something going on that contributed to the higher incidence.......reading these baptismal records is indeed insightful......I think my favorite thing has been the one person who gave so much documentation about the exposta/exposto children found.....the clothing details which I haven't seen during any of the other recorded time periods that I've researched thus far.....
