On your way from Povoacao to Ribeira Quente there is Furnas, which has the Caldeiras (hot springs), lagoon and Terra Nostra Garden Hotel with its park, very nice. There is a large swimming pool there that has mineral water. It's great for your body. When you dry off, your towel is brown from it. Inns- Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, Camoes in Ponta Delgada and Estalagem Dos Clerigos, Nordeste and Senhora da Rosa Inn in Faja de Baixo, Boarding Houses- Casa do Jardim, Hortensia, Residencial D.
