I have no idea why I have this couple in my database, as I'm not related to them, but here is what I have.
BTW, I'm pretty sure Sao Pedro on Santa Maria is in fragments. I think Shirley Allegre ordered the film and I never bothered because she said it was so bad. Manoel de Mello b. c. 1660s-1670s (educated guess) in Sao Lourenco or Sao Pedro on S. Maria. He married Anna de Moura around 1687-1691 probably in Espirito Santo on S.Maria island. Manoel d. before 31 Jan 1731 maybe in Ponta Garca which is on Sao Miguel island. His wife, Anna, died 29 Dec 1737 in Ponta Garca, S. Miguel island. I don't have their parents' names. This Manoel is also known as Antonio Manoel de Mello. I don't have the sources; I guess they didn't import or they weren't entered. 9 children: 1) Antonio de Moura; no other info 2) Maria de Mello, b. Sao Pedro, Santa Maria island, m. Antonio Vieira in 1709 in Ponta Garca, S.Miguel. They had 12 children, all in PG. (PG = Ponta Garca) 3) Manoel de Mello b. Sao Pedro, Santa Maria island, m. Maria da Arruda probably 1720 in PG. 3 known children, all in PG. 4) Leonardo de Mello, b. either S.Maria or S.Miguel island. m. 1723ish to Thereza Furtada maybe in PG. 2 known children, all in PG. After Thereza died, he married again to Luzia de Medeiros on 16 June 1736 in PG. 5) Joao de Mello Moura on 16 Sep 1702 in Povoacao on S.Miguel. He married 20 Dec 1729 to Ursula Carreira in PG. 1 kid b. PG. (Duh, I found it...Ursula is a cousin in my tree) 6) Antoniab. 19 Feb 1706 in PG. No other info. 7) Thome de Resendes, b. 12 Sep 1702 in PG; m. Hyria Furtada de Mendonca in PG. No other info. 8) Felipe, b. 23 Jul 1711 in PG. No other info. 9) Antonia de Mello, b. 7 May 1714 in PG, m. Miguel da Costa Resendes in PG on 1 Feb 1733. 7 kids. There may be many families named Mello from Sao Pedro on S.Maria island.
