Happy new year to all I am working on a birth record from 1855 and have come across a phrase I have not seen before perhaps some one can help. The phrase is "paterno de pais nao labidos". Most often I have seen "pais incognito", which I know is parents unknown. But in this case does it mean "parents not given"?
