Manuel Correia Tavares - (GF ??) - found arrival Boston 2/19/1906 ship Canopic - to Brother in Portsmouth, RI Francisco Dias Correia - New Bedford Library cannot find state or city death record although have found the burial in the St Joseph Section of ST John's Cemetary Book. Dates are right with birth of 1878 and death 1913.
Manuel P. Correia - (My Father ??) - Found arrival Boston 6/6/1910 aged 2 - Ship Canopic, traveling with Maria - age 28 - (GM ?) AGes are right, but origin town is Ponta Garca, when all references from family is Agua De Pau, and Maria's name on Documents i have is Maria Dos Anjos - which I refer to the church Nossa Dos Anjos there in Agua De Pau. I was in the church 2 years ago, and spoke to the priest, who was going to look up the records for me and send them to me, I left many Euro's there with the Priest and have never heard a word from him, nor any response from 3 written requests to the church. Any help with either of these names, would be appreciated as I am stuck here. I havn't searched anything in the Ponta Garca area as I don't really know where to look there.
