I've been to Sao Miguel and Terceira (both in August). Terceira was much
more humid than S. Miguel. On Terceira, the Artesia band was touring the
island and stopping at every freguesia and playing a march (so yes, I've
been to every freguesia on Terceira). My hands were so swollen that my
rings wouldn't move. I'd go find the bucket of soda/beer and put my hands
in the ice to get the swelling down so I could play at the next stop. I
just swell up in the humidity. Different people react differently but the
humidity was greater on Terceira than S.Miguel.
