Thanks Tex, I had several answers my query and the consensus seemed to say the part in question was "Igancio da Camara, auzente (absent)". In the many records I have looked at this was the first one that used that term.

I believe that it may be Casimiro but it is definately "da". I don't believe that Rezende is even there. I believe that whatever that word is it ends in "ente". Look at the word "presente" just 3 lines above. The ending is the same. I think the best thing to do is to look for a marriage record for a brother or sister which would have all of the other names on the family's side and you might get a better view. Birth records for Florinda or one of her siblings should also give you some clarification. Hang in there; some documents are almost impossible to read.
