Dave, my Grandmother (Etelvina Cotta Pereira) was born in the parrish of Conceicoa of Angra, Her Father was Joao Inacio Cota, & her Mother was Maria Carolina. This is as far as I have gotten, but I keep trying for more information, maybe I'll be lucky when I see the Passenger ship list that they came over on & the cencus from 1910 - 1930. please keep me informed, you never know, maybe we are related.
