Hello Robin,
My Borba line comes from Vila Nova, Terceira. The name was originally Lourenço 
de Borba, but my great-grandfather simplified it to just Borba. There are some 
Lourenço de Borba in Terceira still (His name is Jacinto Lourenço de Borba).
Is yours from Terceira also?
