Caetano is the child of Manoel Fernandes Santiago and Maria de Borba. Yes, my Borba's are also from Terceira of Sao Bartolomeu and one line from Dose Ribeiras, Terceira. Even though I've been to Terceira I would need to look at a map to see where Vila Nova is located because I don't remember. Where did your Borba's settle in the US? When speaking with Adair, I find it extremely hard that with the "few" Borba's that are in US records that we're not all related from one line down a while back, but I could be wrong - some being from Terceira and some from Sao Jorge.
