I have met a 'roadblock trying to connect these two back to Antonio Lopes da Fonseca b. Terceira c.1435 ( very rough date) m. Margarida de Ornellas da Camara b.? parents of Margarida were Pedro Goncalves de Camara ca. 1460 Catarina de Ornellas de Saaveidra ca. 1470 parents of Pedro Joao goncalves da Camara ca.1430 Meccia de Noronha ca 1440 parents of Joao Joao Goncalves Zargo ca. 1380- 1467 Constanca Rodrigues Almeida de Sa ca. 1394 - 1485 I think most of these people were born in Angra do Heroismo. they are listed as ancestors of my ancestor Aldina Rosa Do Coracao de Jesus b. 23 Sept 1822 S.Mateus, ilha do Pico. Also listed among her ancestors is Joao Fonseca b. 1435 Lagos, Algarve, Portugal married to ??? with Goncolo Annes da Fonseca b. about 1475 Lagos, Portugal m.Mecia de Andrade Machedo b. about 1487 somewhere this family went to Terceira (Angra do Hirismo) and also ties into my family. This is consistant with the informtion I received from my g. grandfather Jose Andrade Macedo via my aunt. Is there anyone who can trace these people to Francisco Lopes da Fonseca??.
