I'm having difficulties with translating this record for my 2nd great grandfather. Above is the link for the record on the CCA site Sao Jorge Topo. It is the second Joaquim record on the right hand side of the page. Could someone help fill in the xxx's or correct what I've been able to translate. I would be most grateful. Joaquim son of Antonio Machado de Asevedo and his wife Maria de Conceicao natives from the village of Matris of Nosa Senhora do Rosario da Villa Nova do Topo on the island of Sao Jorge. xxx Ribeira xxx grandson xxx paternal of Manuel Vieria de Valenca and his wife Maria Machado xxx maternal of Pedro de Sousa and his wife Isabel Silveira born on the 9 day of the month of November of the year 1806 and was baptized on the 13 day of the same month and year in xxx by me Joao xxx de Bettencourt xxx. For Godfather Joaquim xxx and his sister D. Marianna Joaquina de Bettencourt, children of the family of D. xx Joaquina de Bettencourt widow of xxxx Jose de Asevedo who lives xxx.
