Marie, I don't remember hearing about the d'Aboville numbering system either. But I have a book on my mom's side that uses the Henry system, so I pulled the book to remember the name of that system. But yours had the dots in it, so when I went to find out the explanation of the Henry system, I saw the one for d'Aboville and figured it out.
