Eric, I too verify information I gather from out there. Someone took my information and has my grandfather becoming a father at 8 years old! I keep my info public because I am always hoping a distant family member will find me. I have located quite a few and two of them we had never heard of as that branch in our tree had lost contact. Always pros and cons.
