Well I have Jose Borges on my mother's paternal side from Ribeira Grande. Mother was Maria Rosa from Ribeira Grande that came down from the do Rego Baldaia family. Linda Borges Furtado Norton

They were gold miners in the Crestwick area.� They were teen agers also and through researching, I learned they went with their father and the father's brother in law.� The names were Jacintho Jose de Lima and Jose Jacintho de Lima.� The father was Antonio Jose de Lima and his brother in law was J.
