I sent those pictures to my mother's first cousin to look at. Her cousin is married to a man named Al Costa and that woman looks like she could be his mother maybe. Al is in his mid-eighties and looks just like her. Al and Bettie live in Sebastapol, which is in Sonoma County. Who knows, they may be related. My mother's cousin (who I have always called Aunt Bettie) is usually pretty good about checking email. If I don't hear from her soon though, I will give her a call. Even though they are in their mid-eighties, they don't let the grass grow under their feet. ;0) They travel a lot. I will let you know what I find out. They were not labeled and the curennt family has no idea who they were. By looking at censuses, I've felt it could be a Costa family... or a Silva,,, or a Souza.. etc Do you have any photos of this family to compare ? there are eleven photos. Here are two.
