I am giving you US records and how the names are spelled on these records.
There are also plenty of Achadinha speling on Ancestry. Here are a couple
of examples:

Manuel R. Achadinha applied for an emergency passport for himself and his
wife Sarah de Mello in 1909. He was born Feb. 14, 1878 in Sao Miguel (it
does not give anymore but I could search further and find out).

There is a Manuel R. Achadinha b. Ponta Garca abt. 1862

There is a Manuel P. Achadinha b. in Povracao abt. 1883

There is a Francis Melo Achadinha and Maria Melo Achadinha leaving his wife
Maria Augusta Achadinha, Furnas, Sao Miguel

There is another Achadinha who lists himself as born in Faja Ovelha, Madeira
