Betty, I think the current cost for a baptism/birth from 1885 with conversion fees might be closer to $20 USD. You can get a photocopy from that time period, but you'd have to pay a researcher. It sounds like you're going to have to wait until they put Sao Roque for S. Miguel island online someday.
