Thank you, thank you, thank you! I knew the members on this list could help! I appreciate it so much! My friend will be so happy. She has lots of information on the children of this couple but they have been her road block. Actually for quite a while she thought they were from Madeira. I was looking at her papers last night & noticed Sao Miguel was listed on some of the children's birth records. I asked her why she thought they were from Madeira & she said because her sister put a map of Madeira in the family book. Thanks for all the help! I will have her call to see if she can get more information as to where on Sao Miguel the couple are from. I looked for passenger lists to the US but there are a lot of Francisco Pereira's & Rosa's! I couldn't pinpoint them. Take care, Sherry In a message dated 3/30/2012 7:22:09 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, [email protected] writes:
The marriage was 21 Oct, 1899 in Santo Christo church. The record only says Sao Miguel, but the church might have anything further. Their number is 508/676-1184. The marriage record is on _www.familysearch.org_ (http://www.familysearch.org/) . -- To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected].
