Cheryl,
Ship Madonna sailing from Angra de Heroismo, Terceira, August 21, 1913,
arriving Providence RI Aug. 27, 1913, Cecelia Lucia Silva (Cecilia Luiza
Silva on Ancestry index) 17, leaving her mother Maria Silva, Praia,
Graciosa, going to her sister Maria L. Silva 71 River or Rivet Street, NB.
Born in Praia, Graciosa. Written on the manifest also says "Am. Consul St.
Michaels 11/7/1928 (I think she must have returned to the Azores for a
visit and was applying to return to the US). With this info, you should be
able to find her on the Passportes CCA site and that should list her
parents IF Terceira is listed there for that time frame on CCA. So her
sister Maria Silva was already in the US I can email you the manifest from
Ancestry if you would like. Would she have been married (what would be her
married name?) or single by 1928 as that would help find her manifest for
that date? So now you have her mother's name. There is something written in
the Marks of ID column but I cannot make it out.

I am also researching Silva's from Graciosa. My GGrandmother and her
sister came over in 1913 from Praia Graciosa. Their names were Cecelia
Lucia Silva (1896-1994) & Mary Silva (1895-?). They settled in the New
Bedford & Dartmouth area of Massachusetts. We don't know their parents
names.
