  Thank you very much for the website tip. I was able to confirm my 
grandfather's Lajes do Pico family from his and his sister's birthdates (which 
I knew). Traced back to 5X greatgrandparents :Antonio Goulart Rosa (d.1781) and 
Maria Piedade (d.1770).
  I thought I could get information on my grandmother's town by dividing the 
URL and adding "Bandeiras". It didn't work, however. Do you happen to know of 
the home website where I can enter other Pico towns?
