Ally, Could you provide me additional information on your Furtado's in Pleasanton?
My 2nd great grandmother, Ana Furtado Jorge do Souto of Salao, Faial, Azores, born 10 Jun 1864 married Jose de Rocha Borba in Half Moon Bay, CA in 1884. They resided in San Jose, CA until her death in 1937. I've recently traced this line back to 1687 to Ana Furtado Inacia and her husband Manuel Pereira Prede. I would be happy to check my records to see if there maybe a connection to our Furtado's.
