Hi Peggy,

You don't want to contact a researcher who does exclusive Azorean research
until you have found the freguesia over there.  You need to do more
American research and they can't help you with that part.  It would be like
someone from England writing to you and stating their ancestor was born
somewhere in the United States. And there's no Ancestry database.

You will need to fix the typos in your query (ancestor born Faial 1968, yet
the parents immigrated 76 years earlier, in 1892).

You have to do all kinds of research in America before jumping over to the
Azores.  You found their graves, but you need to get their death
certificates, obits, marriage, U.S. Census, naturalization, Alien
Registration (if alive in 1940), etc.  A how to guide of where to begin can

Hopefully, some of the American sources will give you the freguesia
(village) on Terceira or Faial.  After that, you can hire a researcher or
learn to "read" yourself.
