Greeneyes, I would definitely join the Portugal list and if you get no response from someone there then contact the Torre de Tombo. It looks like they come from Lisboa (Lisbon) area. I would also send the photos to them, I am not sure if rootsweb will let you download photos, maybe you can send them to the researchers personal email address. They have been very helpful to me on this list.
