Aloha Kalani, got to thinking about my stepdads ohana and wondered where my
cousins were that i grew up with, while searching i came upon this
website. My stepdad is the youngest child of Lionel and Ermelinda Avilla.
I believe he was born almost 10 years after the sibling before him. His
name is James Avilla, Sr. just turned 80 July 12th and is now living in
Anahola, Kauai with my brother James Avilla, Jr. I'm not sure that my dad
will be able to share much of the past, because he was the last born, but
you can certainly try and pick his brain. He is still very sharp minded and
witty like i remember his parents were at that age. Please if i can be of
any more assistance do not hesitate. A hui hou, Pamela Burdine
ps. my mother was Lois Kamai Avilla married to James Avilla in 195?
