I am looking for more information on my great grandparents, Victorino Machado Pereira de Bertao b. 10 May 1876 Sao Mateus, Terceira, Azores d. 15 Jul 1951 Sacramento, Sacramento, CA. I am looking for information about therfamily prior to immigrating to the states in 1907 and 1909. I know his father's name was Ernesto and his mother was Mary Carlotta. My great grandmother's name was Amelia Da Conceicao Lemos b. 21 Mar 1888 Sao Mateus, Terceira, Azores her parents were Joaquim Machado de Lemos and Isabel Mariana. If anyone can point me in the correct direction as to where I might find more information, I would be very appreciative. Thank you very much!
