Thanks to everyone for their help. There is definitely a wealth of knowledge
and experience with these records within this group that helps novices like
me decipher various writing styles of priests. I really appreciate the
willingness to share.

Yes, it's Rodovalho, but it is sometimes written as Redovalho.

I have this surname in Pico, but it's likely coming from Terceira.

On Terceira, I have traced all by this name.

And I have sometimes noticed it in Sao Miguel, but don't know whether it's
an old name there or moved over from Terceira. So it will be interesting as
you make progress to see where that leads.

The other name is Lionardo, but again, that can be usually found as
Leonardo. I have that name also in Terceira, most often as a surname
Goncalves Leonardo.

Hi Fred,

To me the grooms parents are Antonio de Oliveira Rodovalho and Antonia do
Sacramento

Brides parents are Lionardo Pereira do Mello and Maria Jacinta.

If you look at how the priest wrote Ritual Romano the R's are the same as
the first letter of grooms father's last name.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
