Hi again Walter, I'll reply to this in public, as it seems others may have the same doubt. You asked if I got 'special' access to create the database.
I have no special access at all. I simply use the same tools you use (a web browser). But the browser I use to create the database is a command-line browser, which I can use to scan the page for stuff that interests me. In the case of Portugal on one hand, and the Azores on the other, I simply created two scripts that handle the different interfaces of the websites. Then I dump the information of interest into a database which I use to display the data on the tombo.pt website.
