Hi Manoel,

From your message, I see Rodovalho is not a recent introduction to Sao Miguel. I thought maybe it came over from Terceira.

Are you lucky enough to have older generations mentioned by Rodrigo Rodrigues?

Hi George,

I also have Moreno in Santo Antonio:
Manuel Soares Moreno, married before 1629 with Isabel de Almeida. They are parents of Maria Soares who m. on 4 april 1629 in Santo Antonio with Vital da Costa Rodovalho.
Manuel Soares Moreno is the son of the capitão Marcos Afonso Moreno, a line that goes back to João Afonso Moreno, according to RR - chapter 96.
