That's all? You mean they didn't live anywhere else? :-)
I suppose the 1584 date is what you can find now in records. If that is when they arrived, then I suppose they did come over from Terceira, because it's at least another 100 years older on Terceira.
I have a line from Pico and one from Terceira, but haven't yet hooked them up to the tronco.
