My maternal Grandmother was a Corvello/Corvelo (BTW, on Flores this is the spelling used) so at one point I contacted James Guill to ask if he had any more information on the family. He said that he had gone to the archives (Torre do Tombo, I suppose) and had seen the original contract between Prince Henry and Antonio Catalao (Corvello) and that it said that Antonio would go from Catalonia to Santa Maria to supervise the establishment of the sugar cane industry and the building of processing mills.
