Maria, I think your Gaspar de Melo married firstly in São Sebastião, Ponta Delgada, with Maria de Pimentel on 22 jun 1692. He was the son of João de Sousa and Catarina de Melo, from the island of Santa Maria.
I descend twice from the couple Gaspar de Melo and Maria Pereira from the island of Santa Maria as well. They had a daughter Maria Pereira born on 2 feb 1678 in Fenais da Luz, São Miguel, and married in Capelas, São Miguel, on 23 feb1698.
