Hello Maria,

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you could determine when your ancestors 
arrived  to the Azores by looking at your FTDNA results and  family tree.  
What I meant to  suggest is what you actually did.  You compared what you 
found about the match from Denmark  to your pedigree chart...and determined 
that your 4th great grandfather, with an unknown father, could be the link 
to the man in Denmark.  At the time, I didn't know about this, or how far 
your family history extended in the Azores.  I thought it was possible that 
a child of your shared common ancestor could've emigrated from the Azores, 
started a family,  and that would explain the results.  But, I think you're 
on to something with your 4th great grandfather's unknown father.
