Francisca, daughter of Manuel Furtado Tabica and of his wife Ana Borges Resendes, naturals and residing in this place of Agua Retorta, Nossa Senhora (Our Lady) of Penha of France suffragan (subordinate) of the Parish of Our Lady of Grace of Faial place (meaning Faial da Terra place). Born on the 12th day of February of 1711 and was baptized on the 17th of the said month of February, "DA ORA SUPRA" (latin) "as said above" in the chapel our Lady of Penha of France in the referred place of Agua Retorta by me Antonio Vieira, actual/present Cura of the same Chapel. Godparents were Manuel Ignacio de Medeiros and his wife Francisca Botelha de Sousa.
