Also, sometimes enlarging the document helps to make out some of the more difficult words. Anyway, This is what I came up with: "Francisco, son of Francisco Goncalves, native of this place of Feteiras, and his wife Rita Ignacia, native of the parish of the Apostle Sao Matheus of Pico, and members of the above church of the Apostle Sao Matheus/ [rather] parish of Divino Espirito Santo; Paternal grandson of Manoel Goncalves and Agada Maria, and Maternal [grandson] of Antonio Correia and Maria dos [Marecos?], was born on the twenty-fifth day of the month of October, 1822, and was baptized by me, the Vicar signed below, on the third of November of this same year. Godfather was Manoel Joze Correia, and Godmother, Anna Feliciana, his sister, children of Manoel Joze Correia and Maria Felicia. Witnesses were Antonio de Medeiros, treasurer, and Francisco de Vargas. For the record I dated as above.
