Legacy does not have a “transcription” field, however there is a field to record the data from a source so you could do the transcription in that field or copy it from some other source into that field. The information would appear in the Source detail for the fact supported. For example, if you have a baptism record, you would include the transcription/translation in the Source detail for the baptism, birth and any other information in the record. You can create additional Event/Fact fields for the Godparents and Witnesses. As Cheri indicated, you can generate web pages from your data and there is a way to store DNA results. Go to http://legacyfamilytree.com to see which features are in the Standard (free) edition versus the Deluxe ($29.95 for the download version and $39.95 for the CD version).
