Hello group, I took a long break from researching the Portuguese side of my
family due to frustration of not getting any further with most of them and
worked on the French side. I managed to get back to the early 1500's with
that side so decided to give it another go with the Portuguese side.
Because of this hiatus it's like I'm starting from scratch again. I hope
it's like riding a bike that I'll be able to pick it up again quickly, but
in the interim I'm hoping someone could help translate two death records
for me...one is for my 5th Great Grandfather. Here is the link:

http://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/PIC-SR-SAOROQUE-O-1818-1841/PIC-SR-SAOROQUE-O-1818-1841_item1/PIC-SR-SAOROQUE-O-1818-1841_JPG/PIC-SR-SAOROQUE-O-1818-1841_0011.jpg

He's on the left side of the page, 2nd from the bottom. He's name is Joao
da Rosa from Sao Roque, Pico Island. The other is on the right side of the
page also 2nd from the bottom and her name is Maria Antonia. It looks like
she passed away in December 1820.

Thank you so much for any help you can give me with these records.

Michelle

Researching: Vieira (Faial); Morais (Sao Jorge); da Rosa (Pico); Homen (Santa
Luzia, Angra do Heroismo, Terceira) and Vera (? Madeira)
