Eliseu

I am curious to know your matches that show no evidence Portuguese ancestry
what's types of ancestry do they have. For example my matches that don't
show Portuguese ancestry are mostly Mexican(which I think is picking up
Jewish ancestry) and Northern Europeans(primarily British) which I think
could be picking up Flemish ancestry. I do know that you have ancestry from
Sao Miguel so I'm very curious if your matches are showing any Moroccan or
Algerian matches. Because some of the early settlers to Sao Miguel were the
captives from when the Portuguese invaded Ceuta in 1415 that weren't
ransomed but were sent to the Azores to work the land. I leaped to that
conclusion because you mentioned the word Pirate and as you know most
Azoreans associate that word with the North Africans.
