Thanks George I appreciate your opinion. I guess I am going to have to study
the line you gave me some more.

I'm glad you think its your family i'm going to give you my opinion either you
take it or not that is totally incorrect I have both lines way back including
all the children and all their marriages, the line Margaret found there is no
Rocha and that Aguiar comes from Mosteiros.

This Rocha family is one of my line

Francisco the Rocha's father is my 7th Great grandfather that is incognito who
comes from Graciosa, I just notice that that he was my grandfather my first
line from Graciosa and Rocha comes from his mother's line,

Best Wishes

I have been looking for the marriage of Francisco da Rocha and Antonia Aguiar
in the Bretanha records I estimate they were married around 1749+-?. The
marriage records for that time period 1703-1779 are a complete disaster and
very hard to search. I have also looked in George Pacheco’s Book but he was not
able to find it although he lists them as married(most likely from their sons
marriage). I have also looked through the Carlos Machado disk form Fr. Viverios.

This is the marriage of his son (Antonio Aguiar) on 15 Mar 1788 (left side)

What I don’t have access with is Rodrigo Rogers and Ernesto Canto. Could they
have noted this family?
