Oh wow I came to the right place!!! I am so excited! My mom told me that she has I believe a cousin still around on Oahu...let me get her in on this conversation (she is not one for the internet, but I can help through telephone conversation)....I will mention Dan and George to her...she really has come amazing pictures I would love to share as well as the pdf that I made in 2 parts (I will attempt to get it into 1 copy and I might already be floating around)...."Ferrei Furtado: The Forgotten Families of Furnas" which Earl Cabrinha had amongst his personal belongings when he passed which were sent to my mother Patricia Cabrinha and there is a personal note from Neal Cabrinha on the cover of it to Earl. It was prefaced and written by Andrew V. Rapoza in December 1996. Quite a body of work put together for the time before computer took the hold they have now with things like Ancestry.
Dano, I will email you directly about the PGSH. My mother and I want to make sure there are hours planned out when in Honolulu specifically planned for us to visit. We desperately want another copy of that book. I am working towards putting together all 4 sides of my son's family heritages for him to carry forward with him and that book is a quintessential piece to the collection. Yeah!!! Thanks everyone for making my day!
